Critical events refer to the important events in one's personal life and he/she has to make some key decisions according to these events. It makes teachers to make a choice of certain behaviors which may cause certain direction. The study of critical events can optimize the teaching activities, improve teachers' professional development to shorten the period from beginner to dab hand. Reflecting will sublimate and filter ordinary events into critical events.They're cause-and-effect and complementary relationship.Through the study of critical events, reflection, teachers' professional development and their relationship, combining the education status of middle school education and the particularity of English, we can find an effective way to shorten the cyclical growth of young teachers.
