Education should pay attention not only to the acquisition of students'knowledge,but also to the physical and mental health of students.Junior middle school students are in a period of rapid physical and psychological change and development.Sexual mental health is an important part of mental health,but mental health is the most unwilling content in many middle schools.Although we are unwilling to mention it,but can not prevent the savage growth of it.The problem of sexual and mental health of junior high school students is a serious educational problem as well as a social problem.I have been working in education for many years,I have deeply realized the negative effects brought about by the imbalance of physical and mental development of junior middle school students in ethnic minority areas.Many teenagers and young girls of various ages have taken detours because of sex-related problems,which have had a great impact on the future of a better life.This is a bitter heart for all educators,everyone don't want to see it.In order to promote the physical and mental health development of junior middle school students,it is necessary to understand the status and characteristics of junior middle school students' sexual mental health.The purpose of this study is to investigate the general situation and general characteristics of sexual mental health of junior middle school students living in mountainous areas inhabited by ethnic minorities,and to compare the sexual mental health status of junior middle school students with different gender,grade,nationality,marriage status of parents,going out status of parents and educational level of parents,and to explore the shadow.The key factors of junior middle school students' sexual mental health are discussed,and the laws of junior middle school students' sexual mental health are explored.On this basis,some suggestions on sex education are put forward in order to supplement and enrich the content of sexual psychological research.This research mainly adopts the questionnaire survey method.A junior middle school in the mountainous area inhabited by ethnic minorities in Western Gejiu City,Honghe Hani Autonomous Prefecture,Yunnan Province,was investigated.A total of 454 students were enrolled.All data in this study were processed by SPSS21 for Windows and excel 2010.The results showed that the mental health status of junior middle school students in ethnic minority areas was generally low.Boys have better grasp of physiological knowledge than girls;students of different grades have significant differences in sexual mental health;students of different nationalities have significant differences in sexual mental health;parents' marital status and whether they go out to work have no significant impact on students' sexual mental health;father's educational level has a significant impact on students'sexual mental health,and shows a positive correlation;Students are generally not satisfied with the content of sex education in textbooks;students' sexual and mental health is not conducive to the control of social problems such as unmarried pregnancies and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
