The "General High school mathematics curriculum standards(2017 edition)" not only conduct detailed explanation and level division,but also increases the teaching of mathematical modeling modules in both compulsory and elective courses.Mathematical modeling literacy,as one of the six "mathematics core literacy",is an important content of high school mathematics.In order to better implement mathematical modeling literacy in senior high school,it is necessary to investigate and analyze the current situation of the overall mathematical modeling literacy of senior high school students.The object of this research were senior one students in Xiamen.Two public middle schools at different levels in Xiamen were selected.Two classes were randomly selected from two middle schools.Consider the various mathematical models that the first-year students have learned,compile corresponding questionnaires and examination papers.By means of questionnaire survey and other research methods,a questionnaire survey was conducted on senior high school students to obtain relevant data.Through questionnaire survey,interview and other research methods,combined with qualitative research methods,SPSS24.0 was used for statistical analysis of the questionnaire survey data,and the research results were as follows:1.The current situation of mathematical modeling literacy of senior one school students is not optimistic as a whole;2.Students have a good foundation of mathematical modeling study,but the channels of mathematical modeling they can access are very limited;3.Innovative and divergent thinking is the most lacking ability of students,and has no significant relationship with the overall quality of students;4.Male students are significantly more interested in mathematical modeling than female students,and there is no significant gender difference in other aspects;5.The mathematical modeling literacy of the students in the first-level qualified schools is significantly higher than that of the students in the second-level qualified schools.Finally,combining the conclusion,this paper puts forward Suggestions on the concrete implementation of mathematical modeling literacy and the cultivation of mathematical modeling literacy.At the same time,according to students’ mathematical modeling level and situation,thedesign of mathematical modeling activities was compiled to provide reference for mathematical modeling teaching.
