| Guangdong Province has planned the "Double Ten Industries" cluster,in which the field of intelligent robots belongs to one of the ten strategic emerging industries and is an important starting point for the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.As an important part of vocational education,secondary vocational schools shoulder the important task of cultivating high-skilled robot innovative talents for emerging industrial clusters.The teaching mode of Operation and Programming of Industrial Robot in secondary vocational schools should be reformed and innovated precisely according to the key professional ability and professional quality requirements of enterprise employees.The core literacy education concept of STEAM can cultivate students’ comprehensive literacy in science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics,help improve students’ skill literacy and comprehensive innovation ability,and meet the goal of teaching reform of industrial robot technology application specialty in secondary vocational schools.First,through the comparative analysis of the STEAM concept and the current situation of industrial robot vocational education at home and abroad,the urgent need for effective integration between the two is obtained.Through enterprise interviews,teacher interviews and student surveys,we learned that there is still a mismatch between the industrial robot talents cultivated by secondary vocational schools and the job requirements of enterprises;the course of Operation and Programming of Industrial Robot still has relatively backward teaching concepts,theory and practice.The integration of teaching is low,and students’ interest in learning is not high,and their initiative is not strong.Therefore,a STEAM-based course teaching mode is proposed,and following the principles of classroom interest,cooperation and participation,multi-dimensional collaboration and project authenticity,the course STEAM teaching objectives,teaching strategies and teaching processes are carefully designed.The teaching strategy includes the curriculum thinking strategy.Secondly,based on the constructed STEAM teaching mode,the application and implementation are carried out,and students are guided to achieve teaching goals in the teaching process of "interest-knowledge-clear-exploration-solid" by means of project-based teaching,task-driven,group cooperation and exploration,and make breakthroughs.Teaching is difficult.The results of application and implementation show that the proposed STEAM teaching mode can effectively improve students’ interest and initiative in the course of Operation and Programming of Industrial Robot,cultivate students’ awareness of independent exploration and the innovative ability to use theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems.The new teaching mode of the course Operation and Programming of Industrial Robot in secondary vocational schools based on the STEAM concept proposed in this paper is more suitable for the needs of advanced manufacturing enterprises for high-quality skilled talents in industrial robots.The teaching of other professional courses can provide reference for reform and innovation ideas. |
