Music education is a form of education and music art is centered on media and aesthetics.It is an art education and belongs to the category of aesthetic education.With the accelerated pace of quality education reform,art education has gradually received people's attention.Music education in schools is an important way to transmit music knowledge to students and cultivate students' music literacy,which has attracted the attention and attention of the general society.However,there are still some problems in primary school music education,especially in rural areas and ethnic minority areas,which lags behind urban areas and other developed areas.This paper takes Qianjiang District Central Primary School in Chongqing as the research object,investigates and studies the current situation of its music education,and conducts investigations and studies from the aspects of geographical environment,ethnic background,schools,teachers,students,curriculum settings,etc.,to find out the existing problems and propose reasonable solutions for them.Qianjiang District is the only minority area in Chongqing,and the ethnic minorities,mainly Tujia and Miao,account for 73.3% of the total population.All the students in Qianjiang District Central Primary School are Tujia,and it is a primary school that has built Tujia cultural characteristics.With the continuous localization of ethnic minorities,the protection of the characteristic culture in Huangxi Town Central Primary School has aroused the author's interest.Therefore,the investigation and study on the protection and inheritance of Tujia culture have been carried out in Qianjiang District Central Primary School.The full text is roughly divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the reasons for the topic selection.literature review,research innovation,research status and content.The second part introduces the general situation of music education in Qianjiang district,the third part presents the results of music education in Qianjiang district's central primary school,the fourth part of the article makes statistics and analysis on the survey data,aAnd the fifth part puts forward suggestions and countermeasures on how to improve the music teaching level of Tujia people in Qujiang District.Through the investigation and study of the full text,the present situation of Tujia music teaching in Qianjiang district of our country is objectively presented,and how to carry out music teaching with local and national characteristics is put forward,which can provide a point of view for the domestic minority music education.
