History is based on the two major factors of time and space.The concept of time and space is the basic ability that students need to learn history.Therefore,the concept of time and space has become one of the five core literacy of high school history.With the reform of history curriculum,in the history classroom teaching activities of middle school,the focus of teacher teaching is to cultivate students' core literacy.The cultivation of time and space concept literacy will become one of the key research topics in the future history of middle school.Combining time-series thinking with spatial thinking and solving historical problems while perceiving history is one of the important contents of current middle school history teaching.On the basis of interpreting the connotation of concept related to time and space literacy,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of current literacy cultivation of various types of secondary schools according to their own educational practice activities,and puts forward some teaching strategies to improve students' time and space literacy.This paper mainly contains five parts.In the introduction part,it analyzes the current cultivation and research status of time and space literacy,and puts forward the research ideas and methods of this paper,pointing out the value of this paper.In the body part,the related concepts of time concept,space concept,and core literacy of time and space concepts are first explained.Secondly,based on the current educational reality,it analyzes the shortcomings of cultivating the concept of time and space in the current classroom teaching.In terms of academic assessment,the examination of time and space is more and more popular in the college entrance examination questions.However,the semester examination of some schools is not enough for the content of time and space.In the use of teaching materials,the current high school history textbooks are in cultivating time and space concept literacy.There are certain limitations and shortcomings;in the literacy of the teaching staff,the teaching ability and strategy of the current teacher team to cultivate students' time and space concept literacy still needs to be improved.Thirdly,in view of the shortcomings in the current teaching,some measures andcountermeasures are proposed to improve the phenomenon of cultivating students' lack of time and space in teachers' teaching.According to the needs of the curriculum and the content of the teaching,this paper proposes relevant countermeasures from multiple angles such as time axes,historical maps,chronology of events,historical materials and multimedia.At the same time,in the specific teaching countermeasures,grasping the mutual promotion and cultivation relationship between time and space concept literacy and other literacy,with the support of classroom teaching examples,is conducive to the combination of theory and practice.Finally,taking the lesson of “ Southern Movement of Regional Economy and Center of Gravity ” as a case,explore the cultivation of students' time and space concept literacy,and present it in the form of instructional design.In the design of course content,it fully embodies the construction and cultivation of time and space concept literacy,the specific teaching situation,the use of various historical materials,historical maps and historical coordinate axes appear many times to help students construct time and space concepts.
