At the nineteenth National Congress of the Party,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to promote educational equity,attach great importance to compulsory education in rural areas,and strive to make every child enjoy a fair and quality education.With the continuous development of rural economy,health has become a problem that people should not pay attention to,and the concept of physical exercise from an early age has gradually penetrated into the hearts of the people.Physical education teachers play a leading role in physical education.The quality of physical education teachers directly affects the quality of teaching.Based on the current situation of primary school PE teachers in rural areas of Qionglai City,this paper studies the basic situation,scientific research,continuing education and working environment of rural PE teachers in Qionglai City by means of literature analysis,interview,questionnaire survey and data statistics,and draws the following conclusions:1.The physical education teachers in rural primary schools in Qionglai City are over-aged,and the physical education teachers are mainly male.The gender structure of teachers is large,there are more part-time teachers,and the titles are lower.The education is mainly concentrated in junior college and undergraduate.The major is basketball and track and field,with fewer second-level athletes and lower refereeing levels.The loss of full-time physical education teachers is large,and there are even part-time other disciplines.2.The number of physical education teachers participating in continuing education in rural primary schools in Qionglai City is once per semester.Teachers pay less attention to continuing education,and some training content is not high quality.Even some schools participate in training funds for the teachers themselves to reduce the desire of teachers to participate in continuing education.Many of the ways of continuing education are online education.There are drawbacks.Online online teaching is not intuitive and cannot directly feedback the quality and participation of teacher training.3.The reasons why the number of articles published by rural primary school PE teachers in Qionglai City are small,the level of scientific research is low,and the degree of voluntility is low is as follows: there are few physical education teachers,there is no scientific research atmosphere;the venues and sports facilities are poor,and there are no scientific research conditions;the work is heavy and there is no time and energy to study;I did not realize the promotion of scientific research on physical education.Some teachers are not willing to conduct research.4.The working environment of physical education teachers in rural primary schools in Qionglai City is extremely poor.The overall rate of school venues and basic equipment is over 80%,but the number of equipments is less than that of cities.The equipment is replaced once in a year or two,and the equipment is outdated.Physical education teachers have a large workload,but most physical education teachers still oppose the occupation of physical education classes.5.The wages of basic physical education teachers in the rural primary schools in Qionglai City(basic salary + performance salary)are less than those of other teachers.Most rural physical education teachers are dissatisfied with the current salary and wages.Some teachers do not receive sports clothing on time,but still The physical education teacher has maintained a love for this profession,and the professionalism of physical education teachers is commendable.
