With the further advancement of basic education reform,the construction of the PE teachers in primary and secondary schools has aroused widespread concern in the education sector and society.The success or failure of education reform lies in teachers.Today,the rural population still accounts for more than half of the country's population,and rural teachers,who account for the vast majority of the entire teaching force,are the backbone of education reform and the key to promoting and developing rural education reform.Therefore,it is necessary for us to have a comprehensive understanding of the professional situation of rural teachers.This study uses: literature data method,interview method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,combined with theoretical analysis and empirical research as the basic idea to determine the composition.The five dimensions of the professional situation of rural physical education teachers: professional reputation,professional value,professional quality,professional identity,and employment environment.The survey analyzed the occupational situation of rural primary and middle school physical education teachers in Linyi City in the context of the implementation of the Rural Teacher Support Program(2015-2020).The results are as follows:(1)The basic situation of the construction of physical education teachers in rural primary and middle schools in Linyi City has been greatly improved in terms of gender ratio,age composition,academic level,professional title structure and income level.Since the implementation of the Plan,preliminary results have been achieved in the rural areas of Linyi City,but the effect is not obvious.Therefore,the "plan" needs to be further implemented to support the construction of physical education teachers in rural areas.(2)The overall occupational situation of physical education teachers in rural primary andmiddle schools in Linyi City is at a lower-middle level,which has a lot of room for improvement.In five dimensions: professional reputation,professional quality and performance level of the working environment are general,occupational value and occupation The performance level of identity is good,and there is a difference between the two dimensions.(3)There are significant differences in professional reputation among different titles,different age groups and different income levels,and there is no significant difference with other basic situations.The professional value and rural physical education teachers in Linyi area are different in gender,age group,different titles and different There is no significant difference in the level of education and income,and there are significant differences in occupational identity at different income levels.There are no significant differences in different genders,different age groups,different titles,and different levels of education.There are significant differences in professional quality between different levels of education.There are no significant differences in other basic situations.The employment environment does not exist significantly in different genders,different age groups,different professional titles,different educational levels,and different income levels.Sexual differences,there is a significant difference between the overall occupational situation and different income levels,there is no difference between different genders,different age groups,different titles,and different levels of education.In response to the results of this study,the following suggestions and opinions are put forward: in improving the professional situation of rural physical education teachers,we should focus on the social objective conditions that affect rural physical education teachers,and improve the main conditions of rural physical education teachers,with emphasis on improving rural areas.The professional prestige and working environment of physical education teachers narrow the gap with urban physical education teachers and further improve the welfare of rural physical education teachers,not just the salary level,aiming at improving the professional status of rural physical education teachers.
