Textbook is an important factor of curriculum reform.For textbooks,teachers are the people with the most direct,understanding,and frequent connections.The attitudes towards textbooks reflect the teachers ' understanding of how to understand textbooks and use teaching materials in the teaching link,which is the basis of teachers ' teaching design.It can directly affect the process of teaching and learning,and influence whether teaching is consistent with the requirements of curriculum standards,affecting class teaching effect and teaching quality.As Guo Xiaoming points out: The attitudes of textbooks have an important role on teaching,and different views of textbooks will construct different teaching procedures.Different teachers have different views,and different views of textbooks can reflect different understanding and treatment,different orientation,and different understanding of teaching materials objectives,contents and structures.The attitudes towards textbooks and teaching play an important role in using the textbooks and classroom teaching.It also decides how teachers put the new curriculum's concept into practice.Therefore,it is necessary to study the teachers' attitudes towards textbooks and teaching.This thesis uses observation and interview to study seven new teachers' attitudes towards textbooks and teaching.It finds that there are two types of new teachers' attitudes towards textbooks and teaching.One type is that teachers believe textbooks are the only standard of teaching,that is to say teaching is all teaching activities.Teachers' teaching activities should follow the textbooks.Teachers should only teach the content of textbooks.The other type is teachers should make some changes according to the textbooks to meet the need of students development.This study is good for teachers to set up scientific attitudes towards textbooks and teaching.It can make the qualities of classroom teaching better and benefit the classroom teaching and curriculum reformation.
