A Practical Study On The Involvement Of Social Work In The Integration Of The City's Trailing The Old Man Community

At present,the rapid development of China's urbanization process,the speed of population flow is accelerating,a large number of people into the city,resulting in the migration of the elderly this group.They follow their children into city life and face new living environment,cultural atmosphere and interpersonal relationship problems.This change is a new challenge for the accompanying old people.Many accompanying old people cannot adapt to the community life well due to internal and external reasons,and the demand for public services,culture and entertainment cannot be guaranteed accordingly,resulting in various social problems.Social work plays an important role in helping the elderly to integrate into the community.Based on the theory of social support,this study USES questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview to study the social work practice of the elderly community integration.Through the analysis of the problems existing in the integration of the elderly in the community,the factors affecting the integration of the elderly in the community and the process of activities.It is found that under the guidance of social support theory,social work is able to establish a good informal support network for the accompanying old people,but it is not enough to obtain the support of formal network for the accompanying old people,and fails to establish the dual support of formal support network and informal network.In terms of group work skills,social workers use methods such as empathy and discovering backbone members to improve the ability of the elderly to adapt to the community and enhance the group cohesion of the elderly.At the level of social worker role,the role of social worker intermediary and supporter is used to help the migrant elderly establish interpersonalrelationship and improve their psychological state.At the level of professional skills,it reflects on skills such as conflict adjustment and role change of social workers to enrich professional skills.There are still some problems in this study,such as the lack of formal network support,the lack of personalized service supply,the poor sustainability of group activities,and the insufficient representation of group members.In view of the above problems,this study puts forward the following Suggestions from the perspective of social work on the integration of the accompanying elderly community: The second is to use the case work to carry on the psychological counselling to the following old people,enhances the psychological adaptation ability;Third,pay attention to the excavation and training of activists,establish a volunteer service team.
