Research On Community Work Services For Social Integration Of The Elderly In Poverty Alleviation And Relocation Areas

HongSibu District,NingXia is the largest centralized resettlement area of ex situ relocation in China.General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected Ningxia in June 2020,First Stop,first time in HongSibu District,It is pointed out that three things should be done:"industry,employment and social integration".Under the background of comprehensively promoting rural revitalization,the social integration degree of immigrants is a symbol of the harmony of residents’ neighborhood life,the embodiment of residents’ sense of belonging and identity to the community,and the source of residents’sense of gain,happiness and security.At present,the aging of China’s population structure is serious,and the problem of the elderly has attracted more social attention.It is of great significance to study the social integration of elderly immigrants in relocation poverty alleviation areas,which is also an important problem in the field of social work.In this paper,the elderly immigrants in X village,Hongsibu District,Ningxia are taken as the research object,and the social planning mode is adopted.Through literature analysis,interview and questionnaire,the social integration of the elderly immigrants in X village is studied from five dimensions:economy,cultural acceptance,behavioral adaptation,identity and social interaction,and the existing problems of social integration of the elderly immigrants in X village are served by community work.It is found that the elderly immigrants in X village have some problems in social integration,such as unsatisfactory economic income,relatively monotonous cultural life,general social adaptation and low sense of community identity.Through the intervention of community work,the social integration of immigrants has been better improved.It is hoped that through this study,first,to explore new ideas and methods for the effective social integration of elderly immigrants in relocated poverty alleviation areas.The conclusion can provide reference for Hongsibao district and other similar immigrant areas to solve the problems of social integration of elderly immigrants;Second,expand the working ideas and methods for community workers to solve the problem of social integration,and enlighten the social work of elderly immigrants in immigrant areas.
