Under the guidance and promotion of educational informatization,educational modernization has achieved unprecedented development.As a product of the information age,flipped classroom promotes the innovation of educational concept and talent cultivation process.At present,the teaching practice of flipped classroom model is in full swing in most disciplines,but its implementation in the field of music subject is still in its infancy.Can flipped classroom be compatible with music instruction at junior middle school?Is the application of flipped classroom at junior middle school music instruction effective?What problems and obstacles will the implementation of flipped classroom in music instruction at junior high school?Such problems need to be further explored and solved.By combing and referring to the existing literature,and based on the Mastery Learning Theory,Constructive Learning Theory and Gamification Learning Theory,this study designed the flipped classroom teaching process in line with the characteristics of music subject,and explained each link in the teaching process in details.Taking the teaching example in the music textbook of Grade 8 of People's Music Press as the teaching content,the teaching experiment of music in flipped classroom model at junior middle school was carried out with using the method of experimental research,233 students from three classes of grade 8 at Zhengzhou X middle school participated the teaching experiment,the teaching effect of junior middle school music flipped classroom was investigated.A pre and a past tests were conducted before and after the experiment with a questionnaire survey.Spss21.0 was used to conduct data analysis with the collected data and paired sample T test analysis was tested.Teachers' views and attitudes towards music flipped classroom at junior middle school was examed with interviews.Based on questionnaires,student feedback,teacher interviews and their own classroom observation records,the teaching effect of flipped classroom at junior middle school music instruction application was analyzed.The results show that the implementation of flipped classroom at junior middle school music instruction is feasible to some extent.The integration of flipped classroom into music instruction at junior middle school is conducive to stimulating students' learning interest,improving students' problem-solving ability,cooperative inquiry ability,aesthetic ability,performance ability and creative ability,and strengthening the interaction and communication between teachers and students.It provides a strong guarantee for the personalized development of students and the cultivation of music core quality.But there are also some problems,such as students' self-learning efficiency is difficult to guarantee,teachers' teaching burden is increased,classroom management difficulty is increased,and group cooperation efficiency is low.Aiming at the existing problems,this study proposes the following improvement strategies:Schools should build a digital music teaching platform,and schools and enterprises should jointly develop music education resources;teachers should improve their professional quality,carry out accurate and differentiated teaching activities;students should actively explore music in life,actively participate in music creation,and provide new ideas and inspiration for music teaching in the field of basic education.
