Function is an important content of mathematics teaching.It runs through the entire mathematics learning process.At present,our country implements nine-year compulsory education policy.In recent years,it is also vigorously advocating the reform of basic education,and has clearly defined the nature of mathematics courses in compulsory education,which is basic,popular and developmental.Mathematics course is a compulsory course in basic education and plays a decisive role in the cultivation of various abilities of middle school students.It is not difficult to see the importance of mathematics courses in junior high school.Then to learn mathematics well in junior high school,functions occupy an important position,especially the study of quadratic functions.The quadratic function is the focus of the whole Middle school mathematics learning process,and it is also a difficult point.Because the knowledge itself has a certain degree of abstraction,coupled with many factors such as the limitations of junior high school students' thinking development level,the study of quadratic function is always a difficult point for many junior high school students,and it is also a key factor that affects the students' mathematics performance in the middle school entrance examination.Many middle school students were affected by this and caused the middle school entrance exam to fail.Therefore,it is necessary for students to learn quadratic function well in junior high school.This study takes secondary function learning as the research content of junior high school students,through consulting the literature,combining their internship experience in Shanghai China Middle School and students' scoring of quadratic functions in the questionnaire.This paper expounds the significance of study on function learning,the purpose of study,the current situation of study at home and abroad,and the importance and necessity of quadratic function in junior high school mathematics learning.According to the current situation of secondary function in junior high school students,the research has investigated and studied the ninth grade students and teachers in Shanghai Chinese middle school,and adopted the survey method to pass the questionnaire survey.The results of the student questionnaire were obtained.The statistical analysis of the survey data was conducted using Excel,and presented in the form of a table.The difficulty of students learning quadratic functions was preliminarily understood.According to the results of the student questionnaire,the students and teachers were interviewed further,and finally the students learned the image nature of quadratic function and the difficulty of image translation,and the corresponding teaching countermeasures were put forward through the analysis of the results.Through the investigation,it is found that the reasons for the difficulty of learning the image nature of quadratic function and the difficulty of image translation are: the reason of quadratic function knowledge itself,the reason of student learning,and the reason of teacher teaching.According to the specific difficulties and students.It provides a reference for junior high school teachers when teaching quadratic functions,avoids teaching errors in teaching,allows students to learn quadratic functions well in junior high school,and lays a solid foundation for further learning functions in high school.
