Before the Hangul was created,Chinese characters have always been the only characters on the Korean Peninsula.For historical reasons,Chinese characters have experienced periods of can't use,use with Hangul,and prohibition of use.In recent years,South Korea has begun to restore a certain number of Chinese character education.At the same time,Chinese language education has developed since the establishment of the world's first Confucius institute in South Korea in 2004.Besides 23 Confucius institutes and 13 Confucius classrooms have been set up,more than 300 primary and secondary school teachers are applied from the "Confucius institute headquarters/hanban" in China to distribute to all parts of the republic of Korea in every year.On the one hand,Korean primary and middle school students are exposed to the Chinese character education of their country;on the other hand,they accept the modern standard Chinese characters from China.How Korean students learn Chinese characters is the focus of this paper.This paper uesed the students' s written materials of Chinese characters collected during one year of Chinese teaching and the the Chinese character writing ability information from teacher's teaching observation,who is in Donga technical high school in busan,South Korea,to analyzes the writing errors of Chinese characters.Based on the general analysis of writing errors,this paper mainly analyzes the types and causes of writing errors of the students in this school,and puts forward some targeted teaching Suggestions for Chinese characters.This paper consists of four parts in total.The first part is an introduction,mainly introducing the reasons for choosing this topic,the purpose and significance of the study,the research methods and the research status at the domestic and abroad.The second part mainly summarizes the types of Korean middle school students' Chinese character writing errors,including stroke errors,component errors,traditional Chinese characters errors,phonetic errors and missing word errors.The third part analyses the reasons of Korean middle school students' Chinese character writing errors from different angles.The fourth part,aiming at the types and causes of Korean middle school students' errors in Chinese character writing,puts forward some teaching suggestions and methods,such as paying attention to the teaching of basic strokes of Chinese characters,strengthening the training of parts of modern Chinese characters,strengthening the comparative training of proximal characters,paying attention to the teaching of Korean Chinese characters and paying attention to the teaching of Korean Chinese characters by-side.Finally,it is the conclusion of this paper.It summarizes the main content of this paper and reflects on shortcomings of the study.
