The content of mathematics curriculum in primary school includes four parts: “number &algebra”,“figure & geometry”,“statistics & probability” and “Comprehensive & practice”.Among them,"Comprehensive and practice" is the highlight of the new curriculum reform,but also the difficulty of the new curriculum reform,reflecting the requirements of mathematics curriculum and teaching reform.The teaching in the field of "synthesis and practice" takes problems as the main line and emphasizes students' autonomous participation as the main way.It is the important carrier to cultivate students' practical ability and comprehensive quality.It does not simply impart knowledge and skills,but pays more attention to students' practical activities and the comprehensive wage of knowledge.Therefore,the field of "Comprehensive and practice" is not only a content of mathematics curriculum,but also a learning activity.On the basis of collecting and analyzing relevant literature,this study investigates and studies the teaching situation of "synthesis and practice" in two primary schools in K city through questionnaires,interviews and classroom observation.The contents of the survey include the following parts: how teachers formulate and implement the teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching methods and teaching evaluation,the teachers' understanding of this filed..The research finds that the problems in the teaching of "synthesis and practice" in primary school are as follows: teachers' inadequate understanding of "Comprehensive and practice";deviations in teaching objectives;the lack of expansion of teaching content;failure to reflect the status of students as the main body of learning;outdated teaching evaluation methods.The main reasons are as follow: the impact of the examination-oriented education environment;the inadequate implementation of teaching objectives;the lag of teachers' teaching concepts;the lack of teachers' teaching ability;the lack of scientific and effective teaching evaluation methods.In this regard,the author puts forward corresponding strategies to improve the teaching effect of "comprehensive and practical" from the teacher aspect: To begin with,teachers should improvetheir theoretical knowledge of this field.Moreover,teachers should clear teaching objectives and implement the requirements of curriculum standards.Besides,teachers should use teaching materials flexibly to expand teaching content.In addition,teachers should improve teaching methods and attach importance to students' experience.Last but not the least,teachers should improve evaluation methods to promote students' development.
