In 2018,the Hubei Provincial Government issued the "Opinions on Transforming the Development Mode to Promote the Construction of a Strong Province of Sports",which pointed out the direction for the development of Hubei's sports industry in the new era.In the process of vigorously promoting the construction of sports provinces in Hubei Province,the promotion of campus basketball has provided new ideas for strengthening school sports.The selection of campus basketball featured schools has been rapidly developed as an important measure to implement the campus basketball promotion work,but there are also some problems that need to be solved urgently.This research mainly uses the literature data method,interview method,questionnaire survey method,field survey method,mathematical statistics method,logic analysis method,through the current situation of Wuhan primary school campus basketball featured school selection,school participation,campus basketball activities Relevant research has been carried out on the status quo and the construction of the security system.The aim is to provide reference for the construction of youth campus basketball schools and the sustainable and healthy development of campus basketball.The study concluded that:The headmaster of the school has a clear understanding of the goals of the basketball school.The training and treatment of basketball teachers are in place to basically meet the needs of the development of basketball activities.The students' motivation,learning attitude and overall participation in basketball are better.Students' learning motivation,learning attitude and overall participation in basketball are better.;Through the active construction of basketball courses,basketball major classes,extracurricular basketball activities,after-school training and competitions,etc.,it has created a strong atmosphere of campus basketball activities,and actively guided students to participate in basketball activities.;The school set up a campus basketball work leading group with the principal as the core,and ensured the smooth development of campus basketball activities by formulating relevant systems and funding.Wuhan primary school campus basketball characteristic school has achieved some results,but there are also some major problems:eager to pursue immediate results and benefits,only the surface has no connotation;campus basketball activities have a single form,lack of characteristic innovation;school-based basketball course development is relatively lagging;The construction of basketball teachers in basketball special schools needs to be further improved;lack of communication between basketball schools.For existing problems,the research proposes that the construction of basketball characteristic schools in the primary school campus of Wuhan should pay attention to the training of the principals of campus basketball schools;student-oriented,interest-based breakthrough,and promote student personality development;strengthening the development of basketball school-based curriculum and creating a characteristic basketball curriculum system;reasonable allocation of basketball teacher resources and continuous strengthening of teacher team building;promote complementary advantages,share resources,and develop together.
