Purpose: this study aims to compare the effects of the experimental intervention of core training method and traditional training method on the specific physical ability of male basketball players in colleges and universities,and to get a better training program in the training according to the training test results.Methods: sixteen athletes with no serious injury history and more than 5 years of training years were selected.Before the experiment,they were tested with unified strength(explosive force)--vertical jump in place high(m),speed test--3/4 field sprint(m),and endurance test--15*17 double run(s).Will be 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15 eight players were divided into control group A,2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16 eight players,can be divided into the experimental group B for 8 weeks of training and study,the control group and experimental group B at the same time,1-4 weeks unified traditional strength training,5-8 weeks group B core training intervention,three times A week,45 minutes at A time.The training content adopts large circulation,every four movements are one group,each group interval 2 minutes,1-4 weeks for 3 groups,5-8weeks for 4 groups of large circulation training,each group 8-12 times.The difficulty and intensity can be adjusted according to the individual differences of the athletes.Finally,the index test before the experiment was carried out after the eight-week intervention training,and the test results of the two groups were integrated,analyzed,compared and tested.Results: the 8-week training experiment of basketball players in Beijing sport university was conducted,and it was found that the combination effect of traditional strength training and core training combined with single traditional strength training can improve the specific strength(explosive power),speed and endurance quality of basketball to different degrees.Conclusion: 1.Core training can improve athletes' muscle energy conversion and utilization rate,which has an important impact on athletes' performance on the field.2.The core training method has a positive impact on the specific physical condition of male basketball players in colleges and universities.Therefore,it is necessary to selectthe combination of training methods and means in the specific training of basketball players,so as to make it consistent with the biological characteristics and technical movements of the project,so as to achieve the scientific and effective training.
