"Little left home,old back home,and the local sounds have not changed."Since ancient times,the"empty-nest youth"group has always existed,and the young people who have taken the exams and the business in different places actually belong to the"empty-nest youth."However,the name of"empty nest youth"is only in recent years.It refers to young people who are between the ages of 20 and 35,have received a certain degree of higher education,and have left their hometowns to live in the city and live alone.In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,the promotion of urbanization and the development of modernization,rich urban resources,perfect infrastructure,and numerous employment opportunities have played a huge "siphon effect".More and more college graduates choose to leave the original.Family,seeking development opportunities in the city."Empty Nest Youth"has become an indisputable fact,and has received much attention from the society.According to statistics,there are more than 20 million"empty-nest youths"in China.The A community of Hefei City has a superior geographical location,complete infrastructure and rich public resources,attracting a large number of migrants.The number of "empty youths"in the community is numerous.Through the on-the-spot observation of the A community,it was found that the"empty nest youth"group was separated from the family or the school.After entering the city,the original acquaintance social network gradually loosened or even collapsed due to the decrease of interaction.The traditional interpersonal communication model and the structural characteristics of the community itself have created the characteristics of closed and fixed life of the community residents,which hindered the contemporary "empty youth"from acquiring new contacts and social support in time,which in turn boosted"The Deconstruction of the Original Social Network of the Empty Nest Youth.At the same time,the combination of various factors such as the exclusion of local community system and the invisible discrimination of community residents make it difficult for the "empty nest youth" group to be embedded in urban life,leading to the psychological imbalance of the"empty nest youth"group.In addition,the development of online media makes the group easy to be"tagged"and further broadens the vulnerable mentality of the group.The interlaced accumulation of many factors makes it difficult for the "empty nest youth"to obtain fair and equitable inter-level mobility opportunities and hinder the accumulation of individual social capital.Through the field investigation of the"empty youth"of the A community,this paper deeply understands the many dilemmas and risks of the current "empty nest youth" in the accumulation of social capital,and tries to use social capital theory,social network,system regulation,etc.The dimension seeks a reasonable and effective solution path for the development dilemma of"empty nest youth".First of all,in the construction of the interpersonal social network,we should give full play to the auxiliary role of social organizations,and guide the "empty youth"to actively participate in community public activities and close the relationship with the residents of the original community.Secondly,at the level of institutional design,the state should introduce systems and norms that conform to the development of youth groups in the new era,guarantee the legitimate rights and interests of the "empty-nest youth"group,and optimize the youth's residence and public space.Finally,at the level of personal cognition,individuals should reshape their understanding of"empty youth"and actively promote self-enhancement.While maintaining the inherent social network,they should actively expand social relations based on the nature of industry and geography.Accumulate a sufficient amount of trust resources,better integrate into urban production and life,smoothly realize self-worth,and gain a sense of belonging and identity in the city.
