A Research On Environmental Education Of History Class In Senior School

Since 20th century,with the development of science,people’s Jiving standard has improved and their material wealth has enriched.However,the global environmental problem are becoming prominent and people are facing crisis of their existence.More and more educated people come to realize that education is a valid way to solve environmental problem.History science aims at exploring the relationship among people,society and nature.It contains fruitful knowledge of environmental education.It is helpful to build environmental awareness and values by educating students in history class in senior school,leading students to have a comprehensive and impersonal idea on the evolution of relationship between human and environment,emphasizing the importance of coordinating the relationships among the nature,environment and development.This paper is concerning environmental education in history class in high school.The documentary method is used to collect research achievements made in environmental education in senior school history class.All these achievements are the theory basis to carry out this research.This research demonstrates the concept of environmental education and the significance of its use in history teaching.According to problems already existed in environmental education and the experience of the writer and other researches,this paper tries to cultivate student’s awareness on environment by means of merging the idea into teaching material,teachers’ quality and teaching methods.
