Since the new primary school science curriculum standards in Mainland were just released in 2017,elementary school science teachers and researchers in primary science education across the country are actively responding to the requirements of the new national curriculum standards and conducting a series of elementary school science curriculum reforms.At present,the Mainland is entering a new round of research on elementary science courses.In these studies,the Mainland has relatively little research on primary school science education in Taiwan.In order to enrich the Mainland's research on science education in primary schools in Taiwan,in this thesis four materials were chosen as the research objects in which there are a current primary science curriculum standards issued by the Mainland,the first grade books and the third and sixth grade books published by Jiangsu Education Publishing House,the natural course outline issued by Taiwan and the third and sixth grade books published by Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Group.And the text research method and comparative research method were chosen as the main research methods,based on course content dimensions.From the curriculum concepts and curriculum objectives,curriculum content in the curriculum standards,the content of textbooks,the structure of the compilation of textbooks and other aspects of the Mainland and Taiwan primary school,the science curriculum qualitative and quantitative comparative studies were done.Through analysis,it can be seen that both the Mainland and Taiwan have similar areas in terms of concepts,goals,and content in primary school science courses.In addition,there also be their own characteristics.Finally,the author's internship experiences were combined with her own views based on analysis in order to be good for Chinese primary school science education.
