Application Of Natural Materials In Primary School Art Teaching

"Compulsory Education Art Course Standards(2011 edition)" requires that students’ innovative ability and creative thinking be fostered in art classroom practice.The use of natural materials in elementary school art class is different from that of simple painting.Painting modeling can only be created on two-dimensional plane.The artistic creation of natural materials can be matched and reorganized freely according to the characteristics of materials,and more creative works can be produced.However,students who have lived in cities for a long time lack sufficient knowledge of natural materials.With the development of the internet,students gradually enter the virtualized life,resulting in their lack of understanding of nature.They like to communicate on the internet,their hands-on ability is gradually declining,and virtualization has become a new direction of their lives.How to gradually cultivate students’ awareness of the use of natural materials in primary school art classes,so that students understand the important role of natural materials in art creation is very crucial.The introduction of natural materials into primary school art classes can effectively remedy the shortcomings of current education.It can not only increase students’ understanding of natural resources,but also enable them to discover the mysteries of nature in practical practice,so as to love art more and create actively.Based on the local teaching situation,the author finds that the use of natural materials in life for art teaching can have a better teaching effect for students with weak art foundation,and students are very active in finding creative materials from life.First of all,the application of natural materials in art classes can solve the long-standing phenomenon of single expression of students’ painting in art classes.Secondly,we can discover and excavate abundant art materials from life,diversify classroom teaching resources,and provide opportunities for students to create creative works.Thirdly,through various unique art teaching activities,students’ creative desire can be stimulated and their comprehensive practice level of art can be improved.This paper makes an analysis and study from the following aspects: the understanding ofnatural materials;the role of natural materials in art education;the current situation and problems of the application of natural materials in art classes;and how to use natural materials to guide students to innovate in art works.The first chapter of this paper mainly introduces the research background,the purpose and significance of the research,as well as the related research summary,research content,research methods,innovation points and theoretical basis.The second chapter conducts questionnaires and interviews on the application of natural materials in the art class,and analyzes the current situation and problems of the application of natural materials in the art class of primary schools.The third chapter introduces the development and application of natural materials.The fourth chapter analyzes the application of natural materials in the art curriculum of primary schools with specific teaching cases.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and application prospect of the introduction of natural material teaching research in the art class of primary school.
