| According to the degree of processing,natural materials can be divided into primary processing of natural materials and deep processing of natural materials.The processed natural materials in this study refer to the natural materials that remain their own texture and color after primary processing by means of cutting and polishing,but become smooth and round.During the internship,the author finds that processed natural materials as materials to make up for the needs of children to get close to nature in kindergartens,which is of great significance.Adopting the method of case study,this study observed the process of processed natural materials by 28 children in class a of Z garden in Nanjing,so as to summarize the general process and process characteristics of the use of processed natural materials by children aged 5-6,preliminarily reveals the interaction level between the children aged 5-6 and processed natural materials,comb children’s experiences in the process of using processed natural materials.The results of the study are as follows:First of all,children aged 5-6 use processed natural materials is the first plan,then use,and finally receive the general process.Secondly,the behavioral performance,interaction duration and the proportion of the number of children aged5-6 are different in terms of operation level,proficiency level and meaning level of processed natural materials.Finally,the process characteristics of 5-6 years old children’s use of processed natural materials include: the duration of children’s use of materials is intermittent and different;Children’s use of materials is combinatorial and symbolic;Children‘s use of materials to put together works with diverse themes and diverse content.In view of the above research results,the factors that affect the use of processed natural materials by children aged 5-6 and the development value of processed natural materials to children are discussed and analyzed.The physical and mental development characteristics of children aged 5-6,the support of teachers and the characteristics of materials themselves all affect children’s use of processed natural materials.The process of using processed natural materials not only promotes children’s learning and development,but also makes up for children’s need to get close to nature.Based on the above research results,discussion and analysis,this research has drawn the following conclusions: Firstly,processed natural materials is both game materials and learning tools;Secondly,children use different ways of processed natural materials,the types of games they play are also different;Thirdly,the characteristics of the material itself will stimulate and induce children to make corresponding representations.In the process of deeply understanding the spirit of the learning and development guide for children aged 3-6,the important pedagogical implications were gained: pay attention to the process,and wait to observe the ways and methods of children’s own use of materials;trust children and create an independent play environment for children;respect children and replace direct teaching with independent exploration;support children,provide materials based on the process. |
