Textbook optimization refers to the integration and innovation on the basis of the original textbooks, making it better and more suitable for the needs of the countries and schools at this stage.Improving the professional quality of normal students and strengthening the teaching practice of normal students are the requirements of the state for higher normal colleges and universities under the new situation.Higher normal colleges are the main base for cultivating outstanding teachers. To achieve this goal, the "Sports Teaching Skills Training" textbook plays an important role. Therefore, this study aims to find out the deficiencies and optimize the processing based on the comparative analysis of the teaching materials structure of physical education teaching skills in higher normal colleges. Therefore, the physical education teaching skills training materials can better guide the teaching and promote the professional development of normal students. This research uses a variety of research methods such as literature, survey, comparative analysis, and mathematical statistics. After reviewing and combing a large amount of literature materials, the paper briefly summarized the design theories, structural elements, classification of physical education teaching skills, training modes, teaching materials, etc.,referring to the standards of excellent textbooks of colleges and universities, and selected the selected the textbook structure(formal structure and physical structure)of the three textbooks, namely,Teaching Skills for Middle School Physical Education Teachers,Micro-teaching Sport and Training of Physical Education Teaching Skills, and finds out the existing problems. Then, according to the practical experience and experts' opinions in teaching the subject for three years, the study puts forward the optimization conception on the structure(form structure and substantive structure)of the textbooks. And through the expert questionnaire, after optimization, the outline of the textbooks about trainings on physical education teaching skills are finally determined, ensuring the rationality of the training process;this study provides a practical basis for the optimization of teaching materials.Through the research, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)By combining the viewpoints of different scholars, the concepts of physical educationteaching skills, textbooks about trainings on physical education teaching skills and the optimization of textbooks about trainings on physical education teaching skills are preliminarily defined.(2)The form structure of textbooks tend to be mature and stable. The cover design can conform to the trend of the times and basically accords to the development of students. It is suitable for college students to read. The chapter name can basically express the content of each chapter that are supposed to learn and master;References aimed at enriching student knowledge are attached;the importance of the cultivation on students' ability of independent inquiry, analysis and problem solving are stressed. But the teaching material content connection is not tight enough, the content before and after echoes vaguely;Textbooks are presented in a single and simple way, lacking the insertion of pictures, photos and video.(3)The substantive structure of the textbook emphasizes the ability of students to explore, analyze and solve problems on their own. However, the classification of physical education teaching skills is different, and the selection of teaching materials is not uniform, resulting in a unified conceptual system for teaching materials;the theoretical knowledge is too much, and the research on the training method and process of physical education teaching skills is not deep and specific, which is macroscopic and reduces the practicability of textbooks.(4)The optimization conception on textbooks about trainings on physical education teaching skills of normal universities and colleges: completed on the basis of the relevant policies issued by the state in recent years and the actual needs of teachers and students as the guiding ideology, according to the system theory, constructivism theory and educational communication theory, and based on the principles of textbook design, combined with the opinions of experts. The textbooks after optimization are divided into three modules: basic physical education skills, other physical education skills and physical education skills training;possessing a practical "Three-Level Management System Training" process and skill evaluation scale. In order to improve the visibility of the textbooks, put forward the idea of matching the teaching materials with video materials, and use the imported skills as an example to write cases and record videos;lay the foundation for the future textbook writing.(5)Research limitations: The objective reason is that there are few researches in this field, and the reference materials are limited. The subjective reason lies in that the level of researchand knowledge is limited, which leads to the analysis of the teaching materials not being comprehensive and specific enough. The outlines after optimization is not detailed enough;time limited,in the conception of matching the textbook with video presentation, only the leading-in skills are video-presented..The objective reason is that there are few researches in this field and the reference materials are limited.Subjective reasons lie in their own research level, knowledge is limited, leading to the analysis of the textbook is not comprehensive and specific, after the optimization of the program is not detailed enough;Due to the limited time,in the conception of video presentation of the textbook, only video presentation of leading-in skills was made.
