Current events can reflect the major social issues at home and abroad that are of concern at present,and many of these hot issues are closely related to the content studied by physical geography and human geography.Therefore,fully exploring the content related to the geography curriculum in current affairs hotspots as teaching materials can not only enrich the geography curriculum resources,but also cultivate students' ability to use geography knowledge to analyze social hot issuesand solve life problem.The college entrance examination is not only a tool to test the quality of geography teaching,but also the most important part of evaluating the core literacy of students.In recent years,the selection of college entrance examination propositions has become more and more close to the latest hot news at home and abroad.Therefore,cultivating students and analyzing the current hotspots from the perspective of geography is also an important aspect worthy of attention in the high school geography teaching process.The thesis takes the application of current affairs hotspots in geography teaching in middle school as the research topic.On the basis of summarizing the previous studies,it analyzes the necessity of applying current affairs hotspots in geography teaching in middle school.Taking the First Middle School of Shexian County as an example,the questionnaire survey was conducted and the results were analyzed.The current situation of current affairs hotspots in geography teaching in middle school was analyzed.The problems existing in the geography teaching of middle school were analyzed.Finally,the current hotspots in middle school geography were proposed.Application strategies in teaching.The full text is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction.Firstly,by reading relevant literature and reviewing the data,it analyzes the research background of current affairs hotspots.Secondly,it analyzes the research status at home and abroad.It analyzes the research content and significance of current affairs hotspots in middle school geography teaching.Finally,it introduces the use.Research method.The second part defines the three core concepts of current affairs hotspots,geographycurrent affairs hotspots,current affairs hotspots in geography teaching,and introduces the theoretical basis of this paper.The third part introduces the research method.Taking the county first middle school as an example,through the questionnaire survey method,some students in the first and third grades of the school and all the geography teachers are surveyed.It is estimated that the current situation of the application of current affairs hotspots in geography teaching in middle schools.The fourth part summarizes the content of the current affairs hotspots and the corresponding contents of the "General Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)";the analysis of the trend of current affairs hotspots in the college entrance examination geography,and the necessity of applying current affairs hotspots in middle school geography teaching.The fifth part puts forward the strategy of applying current affairs hotspots in geography teaching in middle school and writing instructional design.The sixth part is the conclusion and outlook.By summarizing the basic conclusions of this paper,we will look forward to the direction that needs further research in the future.
