With the implementation of the new curriculum standards,the study of high school geography curriculum is more and more concerned about whether students can adapt to lifelong development and social development.Hotspots are closely related to people's lives,and they are applied to high school geography classroom teaching.It can enrich the content of teaching materials,enhance the teaching vitality of geography,improve the teaching efficiency of classrooms,enhance students' interest in learning,and cultivate students' learning ability,which is helpful to the formation of students' core cultural literacy.After reading a large number of literatures to determine the necessity of hotspots in geography classroom teaching,the questionnaire survey method and interview method are used to find out that there are some problems in the application of high school geography classroom teaching in high school.In daily teaching,teachers Can recognize the application significance of hot topic in geography classroom teaching,but the frequency used in the classroom is still relatively small,and the teacher's ability in the extraction of geographic information for the application of the hot topic is relatively simple.There are still some deficiencies in training.Based on these questions,some application strategies of hot topics in high school geography teaching are proposed:teachers should collect hot topics according to the purpose and content of the teaching,and classify and organize the hotspots of different forms.According to the specific teaching objectives,the hot topic is presented to all aspects of teaching,helping students to understand knowledge and using a variety of teaching methods to develop students' learning ability.Finally,according to the proposed countermeasures,two teaching cases are made in the practical application of hot topics in practical classroom teaching.
