Based on China's special household registration system and the current "new normal"trend of economic development,migrant workers' returning especially the employment problem of them has become an inevitable topic in the process of national economic development.What to do when they get back home?What affect their choice?The above questions,are main problems we must be solved when we do this kind of research.This paper,using rural residents,especially migrant data according to CLDS(2012)to analyze the effect factors of returning migrant workers employment.First of all,in this paper,we state the background,purpose,significance and methods of the research,and comb the existing related literature national and abroad of returning migrant workers employment behavior research,summarized domestic and foreign relevant theories and research results.Second,is to review the development process of China's migrant workers,combined with the background to discover its causes,and combining with related data analysis,the development trend of migrant workers in our country,to summarize the new characteristics of migrant workers returning home.Third,is to estimate the size of the returning migrant workers in China.By using the survey data,returning migrant workers in China is summarized in the personal characteristics,family characteristics and other aspects of the characteristics and the distribution and characteristics of employment type after returning home.Fourth,is to establish a migrant employment influence factor index system,and use the Mlogit model to measure the factors,including demographic characteristics,the condition of human capital,family factors,work experience,village level,how to influence its employment choice.Finally,based on above study,put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.Through the above research,we can get the following conclusion:migrant workers returning home to present some new characteristics,migrant entrepreneurship upsurge gradually revealed,employment way agile diversity,but limited by the degree of education,to improve the quality of employment is In urgent needed.Specific estimate the scale of returning migrant workers in our country,it is concluded that about 35.88%of the migrant workers in China has been permanently to return home,home now account for about 15.17%of the total rural labor force,and it can be seen that the age of the returning migrant workers,and human capital both between "not to go out "and "continue to go out",in comparison is more close to people "not to go out",especially on the family structure,in returning migrant workers family,the number of "under the age of 15" and "above the age of 65" are significantly higher than the "not to go out "and "continue to go out",to some extent,this also bolstered the view "returning home due to family care".On the distribution of employment,although the job is diversiform,but nearly half the returning home migrant workers still choose farming.After analyzing the influence factors,found that age,gender,education level and so on have a very significant effect on the employment behavior of return workers,although the working time for the return option of "self employed" and"employed by the people" have no significant effect,but its experience in employment in cities makes them more likely to choose non-farm payrollsafter returning home.From family level,family size has significant positive influence on people to choose "employed by the people" and "self-employed",and comparing to the farmer,the more family per capita arable land they have,the less they choose "unemployment" and "employed by the people".Finally,based on above study,put forward the corresponding policy recommendations,one is the support the development of modern agriculture,to realize the diversification of management;Second is change the business model of processed enterprise to realize a win-win situation;Three is guaranting implementation of the policy about returning migrant workers employment,and implementating the government's preferential conditions for starting a business of the returning migrant workers;Four is to strengthen rural basic education investment,and organize targeted vocational training.
