Study On The Employment Stability Of Migrant Workers And Its Influencing Factors

Under the background of the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,rural migrant workers returning home has injected vitality into the development of rural areas and become the new hope and strength of rural revitalization.With the growth of migrant workers returning home,the employment stability of migrant workers returning home is a problem worth paying attention to.Based on the 2016 survey data of six provinces and cities in central and western China(Guizhou province,Sichuan province,Chongqing municipality,Hunan province,Shaanxi province and Henan province),this paper uses entropy method and Logistic model to study the employment stability of migrant workers returning home and its influencing factors.According to the data results and analysis,the overall employment stability of returning migrant workers in six provinces and cities in central and western China is poor,with 53.8% of returning migrant workers having unstable employment and46.2% of returning migrant workers having stable employment.Through further analysis,it is found that there are eight factors that have a significant impact on the employment stability of returning migrant workers.Specifically,women migrant workers employment stability better than men,with "weak ties" type social capitalemployment of returning migrant workers employment stability is better than by type "weak ties" of social capital returning migrant workers,sign labor contract can promote a returning migrant workers employment stability,and to participate in the number of vocational training,job satisfaction,employment,and neighborhood friends these four factors have positive effects on stability of returning migrant workers employment,family conditions at the village level has a negative influence on the stability of returning migrant workers employment.Based on this,this paper puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions to promote the stable employment of migrant workers returning home from the following three aspects: first,improve the employment support system for migrant workers returning home,including supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises,establishing a wage guarantee mechanism and establishing rights protection institutions;Second,improve the employment ability of returning migrant workers,pay attention to the accumulation of human capital and social capital;Third,to improve the employment quality of returning migrant workers,the focus is to improve the employment environment for returning migrant workers,strengthen employment security.
