In 2003,the Ministry of Education promulgated the “Physical Education and Health Curriculum standards of Ordinary High School(Experimental Draft)”,which stated that “(high schools)should be based on the teaching concept of diversity and selectivity and the actual situation of school to allow students to choose their own sports items to learn.Students can be arranged to choose once every half term,every semester or every academic year.” The “Physical Education and Health Curriculum standards of Ordinary High School(2017 Edition)” promulgated on January 16,2018,once again puts forward that the general high school sports and health curriculum emphasize the organic unity of basicity and selectivity,especially,it emphasizes that school should allow students to select sports program by following their own interests.School should select and create an organizational form which is suitable for the school's optional teaching according to the actual conditions,and carry out the implementation of the option teaching Under such a background,high school sports option teaching has been valued and promoted as a key point of curriculum reform.As the capital of Hebei Province,Shijiazhuang has certain advantages in educational resources and should play a leading role in education reform.The development of Shijiazhuang's teaching of sports options has promoted the development and promotion of sports option teaching in Hebei Province and could produce demonstration effects.In order to further understand the implementation and problems of high school sports options teaching,this thesis applies questionnaire survey method,literature data method,interview method and mathematical statistics method to present the status and effect of sports option teaching in six province' demonstration high school in four districts of Shijiazhuang.By conducting investigations and research,combining with the development trend of physical education reform at home and abroad,this thesis would find out the problems existing in the implementation of sports option teaching in the provincial four-level demonstration high schools in Shijiazhuang,and finally sum up the experience and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,which will provide reference for schools that offering teaching of sports options and that will conduct physical education options in the future.The research results are as follows:1.Sports option teaching has certain advantages on three aspects,the development of students' core literacy skills(frequency of participation in competitions,use of techniques and tactics,mastery of referee knowledge and rules,duration of jogging,analysis ability of sports events),healthy behavior(frequency of participation in physical exercise,unity and cooperation in sports),sports morality(challenge oneself,outcome of the game,role competency)than the traditional physical education class.2.The sports team leaders and physical education teachers have a good understanding and good attitude towards the teaching of sports options.Some school leaders do not recommend the implementation of sports option teaching;students support the opening of sports option teaching,but their understanding of sports option teaching is not comprehensive.3.The setting of the teaching objectives of sports options is generally reasonable,but the situation that students achieve the teaching objectives of sports options is not optimistic.4.The number of sports option items is small,and the sports skill module is not comprehensive enough to meet the needs of students' options.Some students can't choose their own hobbies when they choose option items,and they are vulnerable to other factors.5.The arrangement of option process is more reasonable for using the option teaching organization in the grade level,but the form of placement is not scientific,and can not ensure fairness and justice.The time and frequency of change,and the learning cycle for the implementation of sports option teaching do not meet the requirements of the physical education curriculum standards.6.Teachers have a clear purpose for student evaluation.In the evaluation content,the attention to physical fitness and extracurricular physical exercise and effectiveness is low.Although teachers use a variety of evaluation methods,the evaluation methods combining student evaluation and teacher evaluation are less used.Students are more satisfied with the evaluation content and evaluation methods.7.It is necessary to further improve the allocation of teaching resources.The allocation of physical education teachers in each school is reasonable,but the structure of special physical education teachers is not balanced.There are cases that the stadium is used in an irregular manner and it is used interchangeably.Sports equipment is sufficient,but the procedures for borrowing sports equipment after class are more complicated.
