Pedagogical Content Knowledge is the core knowledge of teachers' professional knowledge,which can reflect the level of teachers' professional teaching.Pedagogical content knowledge is that teachers transform their subject knowledge into a form of easy-to-understand for students,and it is also an important factor affecting the professional growth of teachers.This study took the master of full-time chemistry education as the research object,and used the methods of questionnaire and interview to explore the pedagogical content knowledge.The questionnaire on PCK were developed from the knowledge of curriculum,learners and instructional strategy.Interviews were conducted on the deficiencies of the investigation and the problems found.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The PCK level of the full-time master of chemical education is “basic”in this study.(2)The three dimensions of PCK are also at the second level,which is the “basic”level.The knowledge of curriculum has the highest score,the knowledge of learners is the second,and the knowledge of instructional strategies is the worst.(3)There are certain correlations in the dimensions of PCK.The knowledge of curriculum is medium intensity related to knowledge of learners,and the other dimensions are weakly related.(4)The characteristics of PCK of the master of the full-time chemistry education are:The overall PCK level of the master of full-time chemistry education is not high.For the knowledge of curriculum,they have a certain understanding on the content,but the ability to grasp the concept relationship is poor.For the knowledge of learners,the students' academic situation is insufficient,and the ability of predict learning difficulties is not strong.For the knowledge of instructional strategies,the ability of identify instructional strategies is strong,but the ability of adjust instructional strategies is poor.The knowledge of concept is strong,and there are advanced teaching concepts.The knowledge of evaluation is weak.The method of evaluation is too single.They are not paying attention to evaluation ability.The awareness to develop PCK is weak.Finally,based on the research results,the suggestions for the development of PCK are put forward:(1)Improve the understanding of chemical science,to enhance the awareness of pedagogical content knowledge development;(2)Form the development system of pedagogical content knowledge to improve the level of pedagogical content knowledge;(3)Pay attention to the effect of practice and promote the transformation of pedagogicalcontent knowledge.
