Research On The Regional Characteristics Of Fencing In China

With the joint efforts of several generations of Chinese fencers,Chinese fencing has continuously competed for gold and silver on the world stage,won honors for the motherland,and promoted the vigorous development of mass fencing.However,since the decline of the performance of the Rio Olympic Games,and the "veteran" of the 13 th National Games,there has been a contradiction between the development of popular fencing in China.The development contradiction between the two highlights the current development of fencing in China,which results in the development limitations of fencing in China,including regionalization of development,talent outage and so on.Therefore,a thorough study of the regional characteristics of fencing in China will help to promote the comprehensive and sustainable development of fencing in China.This paper explores the regional characteristics of fencing in China through the methods of documentation,interview and investigation,and mathematical statistics.This paper mainly divides the regions of competitive strength scientifically through cluster analysis,and summarizes the overall regional characteristics of fencing in China based on the development of mass fencing.According to the advisability of previous research and research data,two non-natural factors,economic level and government support,are selected for correlation analysis to further understand the regional development differences of fencing in China,so as to further summarize the regional characteristics of fencing in China,and to provide reference for promoting the coordinated development of fencing in China and the development of fencing in China.This study draws the following conclusions and suggestions:1.The strength of competitive fencing in our country varies greatly from east to west.The development of each region shows the characteristics of non-equilibrium,which are as follows: the number of dominant areas is small,the proportion of points is high;the number of weak and backward areas is large,and the proportion of points is small.2.The difference of competitive level between men and women of the same sword species in the same region is prominent.Athletes from Xinjiang and Ningxia are mostly athletes from areas with joint training or communication advantages.3.The development of mass fencing concentrates on the traditional fencing provinces and areas with developed economic level,which has the characteristics of regional non-equilibrium and difference.Zhejiang,Hunan and other areas with weak competitive strength have a tendency to catch up with and surpass the development of mass fencing in this area.4.The regional development difference of fencing in China is significantly related to the regional economic level and the difference of government support.Competitive strength advantage region has its unique talent reserve system,but the integration of mass fencing and competitive fencing and talent transformation is a major problem of fencing talent development in China.
