A Research On The Formation Mechanism Of College Students' Bullying Behaviour

In order to understand the occurrence mechanism of college students' bullying behavior,this study conducted interviews with typical incidents of college students' bullying,and extracted the occurrence mechanism of college students' bullying behavior through qualitative research.Specifically,this study consists of two related sub-studies.The first study used questionnaire to understand the vulnerable groups and typical forms of bullying behavior of college students.The second study conducted interviews with typical bullying cases and vulnerable groups on this basis,and summarized the formation mechanism of college students' bullying behavior by using process event analysis method.In order to understand the main forms and current situation of college students' bullying behavior,the questionnaire on college students' bullying behavior was used to conduct a largescale survey on college students.The results showed that the incidence of bullying behavior among college students was high(19.9%),and students from rural areas(t=2.21*)and liberal arts students(t=2.21*)were subject to more verbal bullying.Grade difference was not significant.The typical forms of college students' bullying behavior are verbal bullying and relationship bullying.Study secondly,from the typical form of bullying and vulnerable groups in bullying incidents such as summary of college students bullying formation mechanism,interview the five typical who enkindles the bullying and through repeated inquiries and questions the way of checking the details of typical bullying incidents of complete process,using the method to process events,bullying incident analysis,summed up the college students bullying formation mechanism,respectively is:(1)the bud: family background difference caused by the low recognition;(2)development period: rationalization of bullying in campus subculture;(3)outbreak period: the bullying result caused by the bandage of public opinion and mobilization of behavior;(4)appeasement period: a brief period of peace brought by compromise and concession;(5)incubation period: the isolation of each other's lifestyle and the alienation of contradiction.Based on research one and two,it is concluded that bullying among college students is more serious,verbal bullying and relationship bullying are the main forms of bullying among college students,bullying atmosphere breeds bullying culture,intra-group differences promote bullying behavior,conflict of interest intensifies bullying behavior and isolation creates bullying atmosphere.Finally,in view of the formation mechanism of college students' bullying behavior,this paper proposes countermeasures for college students' bullying behavior,and believes that the subculture of bullying should be eliminated,the vulnerable groups should be protected,and the class opinion leaders should be positively guided to create a positive class culture.
