“Double-First-class” means building a world-class university and a first-class discipline.It is an important national strategy in China's higher education after the “211 Project” and the “985 Project”.It is conducive to further enhancing the comprehensive strength and international competitiveness of China's higher education.In the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,President Xi Jinping further clearly pointed out: "Building a strong education country is the basic project for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.We must give priority to education,accelerate the modernization of education,and run a satisfactory education for the people." At the same time,it also emphasizes the need to accelerate the construction of first-class universities and first-class disciplines,and realize the intensive development of higher education.The important instructions of the 19 th National Congress report pointed out the direction for the development of China's higher education in the new era.As a specialtyforce in China's higher education,local universities should,in the context of “double first-class”,also make efforts to promote the connotative development of universities,focus on first-class specialty,and cultivate first-class applied talents.Provide intellectual support for the development of the national,social and local economy in the new era.This article discusses from five aspects.Chapter One Introduction.By expounding the importance of first-class specialty construction in local colleges and universities in China,it shows the importance of doing first-class specialty research in local universities.The second chapter is the definition and theoretical basis of related concepts.Defining the relationship between local colleges,specialty connotations,professions and disciplines,as well as the connotation and characteristics of first-class professions,and also the theoretical basis of first-class specialty research.The third chapter is about the internal and external environment faced by local colleges and universities in China.It mainly discusses the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and external challenges.It analyzes the internal and external macro and micro aspects of the current top-level construction of local universities in China.The reality.The fourth chapter analyzes and combs the list of first-class specialty construction in Jiangxi Province,and summarizes the distribution characteristics and construction status of the first-class specialtys in different universities and disciplines in Jiangxi Province.The fifth chapter,through the analysis of the status quo of first-class specialty construction in Jiangxi Province and the literature on the predicament of local colleges and universities,and based on the four principles of first-class specialty construction: the principle of seeking truth from facts,dynamic and advanced principles,service principles and active adaptability Principles;propose strategic recommendations for first-class specialty construction from three levels: government,universities,and secondary colleges.Through this research,I hope to provide some useful help for the construction of first-class specialtys in local universities.
