With the introduction and implementation of Ministry of Education policy documents,study-tour is becoming an important part of quality education in primary and secondary schools and is constantly popularizing all over the country.In addition,study-tour is one of the vital ways to cultivate the practical ability of geography.However,the effect of the activities is not satisfactory as we expected based on the implementation of the activities.This is mostly related to the fact that the educational system of research travel is at the initial exploratory stage in middle schools.As a new geography curriculum standard(2017)states,geography practice ability attaches great importance to the key ability of cultivation.The urgent question of how to effectively implement it in the study-tour and play the role of study-tour in cultivating students' geography practice ability and practical power for middle school geography education should be handled as soon as possible.In this paper,geographic practical ability and study-tour are integrated together,And the training effect is systematically researched.What is more,improvement strategies are proposed based on the existing problems in the implementation process.Finally,a study-tour program for cultivating geographic practical ability is designed according to the strategy.It is expected that the teaching strategies of study-tour are much more enriched.And it provides support for the professional development of geography teachers,scientific organization of study-tour and reference value for the training and effective development of geography practice ability in middle schools.In order to obtain relevant data to support the research on the strategy of cultivating geography practical ability of middle school students during their study trip,the theories of constructivism,multiple intelligences,"learning by doing" and "life education" are utilized in this process.On the basis of defining the key concepts and summarizing the related research progress both domestic and abroad,this paper conducts a survey on the current situation of the cultivation of geography practical ability of middle school students in their study-tour through the means of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview.Moreover,this paper investigates the questionnaires of current middle school students in Zhengzhou,Kaifeng and front-line teachers all over the country.Based on the results of the questionnaire survey and interview analysis.It is found that there are not only students' problems,but also teachers' shortcomings in the implementation of geography study-tour for middle school students based on the comprehensive questionnaires and interviews Specifically.there(1)are Failure to recognize the cognitive subjects of study-tour,Learning Object Location Migration,Simple and easy-to-do experiential activities are preferred.Students have low participation in activities and are more passive acceptance,and are Lack of awareness of criticism and innovation.Therefore,the training effect of students' geographical practical ability needs to be improved.(2)Although teachers agree with the value of study-tour in the cultivation of geographical practical ability,they lack the ways and methods to achieve it.It is obvious that the activity organizations draw lessons from the form of tourism,Lack of Teachers' Related Ability.Teachers do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of geographic practical ability in teaching.The practice of scientific research lacks the essential content of geographical knowledge and its organizational form is relatively single.There are deficiencies in the training of geographic information technology and geographic experimental ability.Teachers do not train students in different levels,and the activities are mostly dependent on travel agencies.(3)The main reason for these problems is that study-tour curriculum resources have not been deeply excavated.The practical force of the design of research practice activities is relatively Incomplete,Lack of deep and shallow levels in the design of teaching activities.Teachers subjective factors and teaching hardware do not meet the requirements.In view of the problems and reasons in the training of practical ability of study-tour geography,the following improvement strategies are put forward.(1)Selection of bases and routes with distinct themes;(2)Build a platform to train qualified teachers;(3)strengthen the organization and guidance of Geographical Practice Activities in the Process of Research Travel;(4)Constructing the evaluation system of study-tour quality of Research;(5)Develop appropriate study-tour courses.With the improvement strategy of integration in this study,This paper puts forward the design of study-tour activities based on geographical practice.The design of study-tour plan includes the basis and principle.Based on curriculum,textbook research and devoting to the all-round development of students.The program process includes the theme of the study tour,the three-dimensional objectives of the study,the content of the cultivation of geographical practical ability,the form of activities and preparatory work,etc.The design example of Yuntai Mountain from the perspective of natural geography is given in the first year of senior high school.This study combines study-tour with the cultivation of geographical practice.Qualitative and quantitative analysis of its culture effects are carried out.In the view of the problems exist in the current implementation situation,the improvement strategy and the case design are proposed.This innovative paper is different from the previous studies,which focuses on analyzing and studying questions based on the different perspectives.
