A Case Study On The Implementation Of Career Education Curriculum In Senior High Schools

In this study,S high school was taken as a case.Questionnaire survey method,interview investigation method and literature analysis method were used to present the current situation of curriculum implementation from the perspective of satisfaction.Firstly,a questionnaire survey from the multiple dimensions was conducted on the curriculum implementation satisfaction.Secondly,the course teachers,some head teachers and students were interviewed in the dimension of low satisfaction,in order to analyze the problems in the course implementation.Finally,the paper puts forward countermeasures to the problems in the course implementation.The study found:1.There are the following problems in curriculum implementation.The status of career courses in senior high school is very low.The curriculum system is not perfect.The course content is oriented to solve the problems of students' elective courses,but ignores the cultivation of their ability of selection and planning.The number of course teachers is not enough and lack of professionalism.Teachers of other disciplines lack the understanding of career education,leading to the lack of the effective way of course implementation--subject penetration.2.The main causes of curriculum implementation problems: the supremacy of college entrance examination and the suppression of public opinion on the implementation of career education curriculum in ordinary high schools;The principal decides the position of vocational education curriculum in the curriculum of high school;The number and "quality" of teachers influence the way and "depth" of curriculum implementation;The administrative department of education has a weak guarantee.3.In order to promote the further implementation of career education curriculum in senior high school,we should improve the legal and system construction and improve the status of curriculum.Strengthen the publicity of career education,so as to get the attention of all sectors of society and improve the security system of the curriculum implementation.Education administration departments improve the curriculum top level design.Focus on the professional development of principals and promote effective curriculum leadership.Strengthen the development of teachers,so as to adopt flexible and rich curriculum implementation approaches.
