Reading is the main channel to obtain information,analyze and process information,reading literacy is the key accomplishment that affects people's lifelong development,and reading teaching is an important link to improve students ' reading literacy.At present,there are many problems in junior middle school reading teaching,such as vague teaching objectives,outdated teaching methods,rigid teaching process,heavy ability and light accomplishment,which lead to students losing interest and losing vitality in reading class.In the above doubts and thinking,the author takes improving students ' reading accomplishment as the goal of reading teaching,through investigation to understand the reading literacy status and the causes of the present situation of the junior middle school students in Weiyuan County,and on this basis,discusses the optimization strategy of reading teaching,which provides some suggestions and thoughts for improving students ' reading accomplishment and reforming reading teaching.In this paper,through literature study and comparative study,understand and extract the connotation of reading literacy.Through questionnaire survey,questionnaire test,interview method and other methods for students' reading knowledge,reading ability and reading attitude three aspects has carried on the empirical study,understand and systematically analyses the present situation of the junior middle school students reading literacy as well as the profound reasons behind the current situation,the last around to improve students' reading literacy from the rich reading knowledge,improve their reading ability,reading attitude of three aspects put forward concrete optimization strategy.This article altogether involves five chapters,concentrates with emphasis in three chapters.One,in the theory pondered summarizes the reading accomplishment connotation;Two,conducts the investigation and study to the weiyuan first junior middle school student's reading accomplishment present situation as well as the origin;Three,in the present situation and above the origin analysis foundation,proposes the reading teaching optimization strategy.
