The characteristics of poetry are not only reflected in its special style,but also in its unique phonetic form.Only through the rhythm can we truly appreciate its beauty.Reading,as a way of intuitive thinking,naturally becomes the most important method of poetry learning.The new curriculum standard of the 2011 edition not only clarifies the important value of "recitation" for the study of ancient poetry,but also specifies the content,scope,length,type and evaluation requirements of the reading materials from the first to the fourth learning stages.As a traditional Chinese teaching method,recitation has not only its inherent rationality,but also the connotation of modern education given by the times.At present,recitation as a teaching method has entered the classroom of ancient poetry in junior middle school,but through an in-depth investigation of a middle school in Qinhuangdao,the author finds that recitation still does not attract the full attention of teachers and students in the teaching of ancient poetry in junior middle school,and its role is far from being fully played.As a Chinese teacher,we should think about how to make use of the modern "teaching" and "learning" way,let this traditional teaching method play its due role,and promote the improvement of the quality of ancient poetry teaching in junior middle school.From the very beginning,It mainly introduces the background,significance,research status and research methods of the topic selection;Chapter II,recitation method and its application value in the teaching of ancient poetry in junior and middle schools.To help language teachers correctly understand the connotation and function of recitation and ancient poetry,which is a unique style of reading,understand the requirements of the implementation of recitation method under the new curriculum standard,and deeply understand the important value of Recitation in the teaching of ancient poetry;Chapter III,the investigation and analysis of the present situation of recitation method in the teaching of ancient poetry in junior middle school.Through an in-depth investigation of teachers and students in amiddle school in Qinhuangdao,it is found that there are still some problems in the implementation of Recitation in the teaching of ancient poetry,such as insufficient understanding,formality,unscientific guidance,single mode and imperfect evaluation,which affect the quality of ancient poetry teaching.Chapter IV,the application strategy of Recitation in the teaching of ancient poetry in middle school is explored.This is also the focus of this paper.In view of the problems related to the recitation method in the teaching of ancient poetry in junior middle school,the author puts forward some strategies to improve the application of recitation method in the teaching of ancient poetry in the light of excellent teaching examples and his own teaching practice,in order to improve the quality of recitation method in the teaching of ancient poetry in junior middle school.
