The game teaching method is one of the most common used methods of teaching Chinese as a foreign language(TCFL),which is a way of combining teaching with entertainments.Through teaching practice,game teaching method is demonstrated to play an important role in elementary Chinese listening and speaking lessons in Thailand and is suitable for Thailand senior high school students.The study demonstrates that game teaching method in TCFL is widely utilized but lacks relative theory and teaching practice,especially few application cases in the primary Chinese listening and speaking classes in Thailand.Therefore,the article Therefore,in order to explore the application of game teaching method in elementary Chinese listening and speaking lessons in Thailand,the article“Playing Table Tennis”in lesson 12 of the second Book of Happy Chinese is chosen as the teaching content with students in Class 4 grade 1 of Tepleela Middle School as the research objects using game teaching method.This thesis is divided into 5 parts.First of all,it introduces the research background and significance,analyzing the current situation of the game teaching method in the listening and speaking lessons of TCFL,explaining the research methodologies applied in this study,including interviewing method,questionnaire method,classroom observation method,case analysis method.Secondly,it expounds the basic theory of game teaching method,teaching principles and implementation steps.Thirdly,the author analyzes the feasibility of game teaching method utilization in teaching primary Chinese listening and speaking in Thailand from three aspects of teaching environment,teaching object's and teaching materials.Fourthly,it presents application cases of game teaching method of Chinese primary listening and speaking teaching in Thailand.Finally,the teaching evaluation and introspection are carried out.By analyzing application effects of game teaching method through two sides of students and Chinese teachers,it reflects the problems existing in the teaching,and proposes suggestions of using the game teachingmethod in the primary Chinese listening and speaking courses in Thailand.
