Objective: To explore the effects of rehabilitation and teaching in water on the exercise capacity and activities of daily living activities of polio sequelae. Methods:Using the literature method, experimental method, data statistics method, expert interview method, questionnaire survey method.Procedure: Nine patients with sequela sequelae aged 46-61 years were selected as subjects.A total of 8 experiments were performed for 90 minutes each time.Through the empirical study of swimming teaching and underwater rehabilitation effects, the subject's ability changes were evaluated.in conclusion:1.Patients with polio sequelae have long-term wheelchairs, lack of exercise, limited leg activities, and difficulty in exercising on land. However, due to the characteristics of the water environment, the subjects are more suitable for exercise in the water;2.Through the experimental intervention, the indicators included in the subject's body shape/bodily function/physical quality were increased.Explain that swimming not only has the effect of reducing fat,but also increases the muscle strength of the upper limbs and keeps the body in a healthy state;3.After the test was measured in the experiment, the subject grew from three floats up to a full score to seven full scores, indicating that the subject gradually mastered the swimming skills. However, the subject is slower than the healthy person due to the particularity of the body;4.The repeated strokes of the breaststroke during swimming enable the subject's upper limb strength to be improved. The ability to move using crutches in daily life is improved, and the subject is more and more satisfied with the state oflife and life is full of confidence.
