Due to the improvement of electronic information level and the proposal of the "Internet +" action project,the large-scale online open curriculum,represented by MOOC,has been rising rapidly in recent years,which has brought new opportunities for improving the quality of teaching in colleges and universities in China,while it is also a challenge to the reform and innovation of university teaching management in China.MOOC has attracted attention from all social circles and has been continuously explored,furthermore,the relationship between MOOC and universities is becoming more and more close.As the core link of school management,teaching management in colleges and universities is a major means for those school to fully accept the innovative forms of education and integrate them into their own development.Whether they can grasp the opportunity of MOOC reasonably and give full play to its advantages from the aspect of teaching management in colleges and universities so as to promote the innovation of teaching management and the improvement of teaching quality in Colleges and universities is a new thought for the high-quality development of colleges and universities in the new era.Based on this,this paper makes a reasonable study on the research status and achievements of MOOC at home and abroad on the basis of literature review.With the help of Coursera,Edx,FutureLearn and other foreign high-quality MOOC platforms,this paper has a certain understanding for the actual development of MOOC and organizes the relationship between MOOC and teaching management in colleges and universities from two aspects of practical operation and theory.This paper investigates and analyses the problems existing in the teaching management of colleges and universities in the application of MOOC from the perspective of students,and selects MOOC practical universities in Harbin as a sample to conduct a school-level survey in order to collect first-hand data.In addition,on the basis of interviews as a supplement way to the questionnaire,starting from the students’ direct feelings and actual needs who are one of the main part for teaching activities in colleges and universities.On the basis of discovering the problems existing in the course of teaching management in colleges and universities,This paper puts forward some countermeasures such as improving the teaching management system of MOOC in universities,improving the teaching target management status of MOOC in universities,strengthening the overall management of MOOC courses in universities,improving the evaluation and assessment system of MOOC teachers in universities,and innovating the individualized learning management system of MOOC students in universities.This paper aims to understand the shortcomings and imperfections of teaching management in colleges and universities under the background of MOOC application,through which can provide ideas and directions for exploring the innovation and reform of teaching management in Chinese universities in the application of MOOC.
