Chinese enlightenment in early childhood plays a vital role in the whole process of Chinese learning for students.It is the duty of every TCSOL teacher to make students master good Chinese learning habits and standard Chinese pronunciation at the stage of Chinese enlightenment.This paper combines the author's teaching practice in Thailand,takes the students of the third stage of the kindergarten of the Hua Qiao Ubon Ratchathani School 2 as the teaching object,and takes "Preschool Chinese" as the teaching material.By applying the Situational Teaching Method to the Chinese class of Thai kindergarten and choosing "She is a Doctor" as the teaching design of Thai kindergarten Chinese class,so as to conduct study and discussion on whether the Situational Teaching Method is suitable for Thai kindergartens.We try hard to help Thai kindergarten students who are still in the stage of Chinese enlightenment fall in love with Chinese,learn Chinese and finally master Chinese through the practical characteristics of the Situational Teaching Method in the process of Chinese teaching.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.It mainly describes the purpose,significance,content and methods of the study and reviews the relevant literature.The second part expounds relevant issues about the application of Situational Teaching Method in Thai Chinese class.The main issues are related theory outline of Situational Teaching Method,feasibility analysis of Situational Teaching Methodd in Chinese class of Thai kindergartens,the types of teaching methods commonly used in Situational Teaching Method and the main teaching procedures.The third part takes the Ninth Lesson of Happy Chinese,She is a Doctor,as an example,and applies Situational Teaching Method to the teaching design of Chinese class of Thai kindergarten.The forth part is the reflection and summary of the teaching design.
