With the development of "one belt and one road" initiative,more and more Nepalese schools have offered Chinese lessons.Because of the complex structure of Chinese characters and numerous strokes,Writing Chinese characters is a"roadblock"for students.Therefore,how to make Nepali middle school students learn Chinese characters easily and efficiently is a major concern.Taking the students of Grade 9 of "Apex Life School"with zero level Chinese proficiency of Apex Life School in Nepal as the sample,this paper has carried out a 12-week Chinese character teaching method of"Recognize more and Write less".In the process,the student's ability of"reading"and"writing"of Chinese characters has been tested,analyzed and a feedback survey has been conducted.On this basis,this paper puts forward some suggestions for Nepalese middle school students to use the mode of"Recognize more and Write less"Chinese character teaching methodChapter one elaborates the object and content of teaching practice,introduces the basic situation of 32 students with zero level Chinese in Grade 9 of"Apex Lite School" in Kathmandu Private School.Nepal.and explains the reasons for using the first volume of Happy Chinese by People's Education Publishing House as a textbook.Through interviews with principals,ninth grade class teachers and Chinese teachers,we can further understand the specific situation of the Chinese language course in ourcharacters school.The second chapter introduces the specific arrangement of the teaching content.It includes teaching the reading and writing Chinese.It focuses on the specific teaching process of stroke order,stroke,structure,radical and student's acquisition in the process ot teaching Chinese character writing.The third chapter analyses the results of three Chinese character"reading"and"writing"tests in the teaching process,as well as the improvement,errors and obstacles in different teaching stages.At the same time,through two questionnaires to understand the student's evaluation and feedback on the Chinese character teaching practice.The fourth chapter makes teaching reflection on the basis of the test results and questionnaire results of the teaching practice process,and puts forward some suggestions on Chinese character teaching for Nepalese zero-starting middle school students.
