Teaching Chinese characters are still the key and difficult point in Chinese language. As the number of Chinese characters is more,difficult to remember, difficult to write, which results into many Thai students giving up learning Chinese halfway,ultimately landing Chinese teachers into trouble. This article is based on the"Samsenwittayalai high School" first grade students as the object of study, through the questionnaire survey and classroom observation method to discover the learning Chinese issues and the current situation of teaching Chinese characters. This paper expounds the importance of teaching Chinese characters in Thailand and explores the Chinese language teaching methods to understand Chinese characters. At the same time, it also designs a study program for Thai students in the primary stage, which is validated and implemented in teaching practice, can inspire students learning interest , such as: Chinese characters games, multimedia teaching, Chinese characters and so on. Practice has proved that according to the Thai word order Chinese character teaching method is very effective, the method can help students to quickly read Chinese characters, and can consolidate the students' knowledge of Chinese characters, stimulate the interest in learning Chinese characters, improve learning efficiency and Chinese level.
