| Career is the combination of work-related experiences that span the entire life cycle of an individual.Career success is a positive psychological or work-related outcome that a person has accumulated in his or her work experience.Many people choose to become freelancers.Compared with employees in the organization,freelancers have different understandings of career success.This thesis takes the freelancers as the research object.Firstly,semi-structured interviews are conducted among 18 freelancers from different industries.The rooted theory method is used for concept development and model construction.Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were then performed on the scale.The main results of this paper are as follows:(1)Get the preliminary freelancers’ career success criteria through the semi-structured interviews and coding.(2)Use SPSS25.0 and Amos24.0 to conduct exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis on the career success scale,and explore it as a three-factor model,including three factors: internal satisfaction,external reward,social activities.The innovations of this paper are mainly the following three points:(1)Based on the background of the boundaryless career,using the research methods of qualitative research and quantitative analysis to construct a scale that meets the success criteria of the freelancers in China;(2)Through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,the good reliability and validity of the scale are verified,which can be used as measurement tools and theoretical support for later research.(3)The research results perfected the group research of the career success evaluation criteria.This scale can enable freelancers to define individual career success according to internal needs,making more accurate career plan,which has important practical significance for themselves and enterprise management. |
