To study the mechanism of twenty-four-posture Taijiquan and its body-building function, Eight-six healthy female college students (sophomore, age: 20.12?. 08 ) of Shandong Normal University were chosen randomly and divided" into training group(n=37) and compared group (n=31) .The first group live a normal life as before and the second group took a training of Twenty-four-posture Taijiquan, which last 6 months. The exercise recipe includes:1. Item: Twenty-four-posture Taijiquan.2. Intensity: 60%-75% of one' s heart rate.3. Time: 40-80 minutes each time for 6 months.4. Frequency: 3-6 times a week.5. Points for attection: warm-up exercises and post exercise activity; make it a regular training with enough Oxygen.By using SPSS. 10 Data statistical software, we compared and analyzed the Physiological.Criteria of the two groups. ? Functional criteria of heart and LungAfter 6 months training of Taijiquan , the subjects of the eoperimetal group have a great change im VC, V02max, HR, SV, CO, PS, PD, TPR, AC and V. (P (0. 05) ;and PS, PD, AC and V decreased obviously, but VC, and SV V02max, HR, SV have increased.Although the subjects in the compared group have change (increased or decreased) in VC, V02max, HR, SV,CO, PS, PD, TPR, AC and V, the changes have no significance of statistics. (P<0.05)?. Body Component CriteriaAfter 6 months training of Taijiquan, to the subjects of the experimental group there is an obvious decrease in Fat weight, Fatpercentage, weight criteria, weight and Lean weight. (P<0. 05) Lean weight decreased but has no significance of statistics. To he compared group, there is no significant change in those criteria. (P <0.05) H. Muscle Strength CriteriaTo the experimental group, the gripping power of right hand greatly increased. (P <0. 05) ; To the compared group, there is no statistical difference before and after taking the Taijiquan. (P <0.05) H. Pliability CriteriaTo the experiment group, there is a significant increase in the length of reaching arms in siting posture (P (0.05)We draw the conclusion from the above statistics: Twenty-four-posture Taijiquan earn enhance the function of heart and lung of healthy Female college students, change their body components and develop their strength and pliability: This finding will lay a solid foundation in theory and practice for the widespread of Taijiquan which is regarded as a body-building item for Female college students.
