Modern prose,as a short,concise and aesthetic literary genre,contains sincere emotional beauty and profound artistic beauty.Using situational teaching theory to improve modern prose teaching in junior middle school is an effective practical exploration.By using the methods of literature research,investigation and case analysis,this study finds that the current situation teaching of modern prose in junior high school has some problems,such as the teaching objectives are divorced from the requirements of situation teaching,the teaching process ignores the emotional experience and the lack of situation creation of teaching methods.The causes of the problems are as follows: teachers despise the situation teaching of modern prose in teaching concepts,improper implementation of teachers' teaching affects the situation teaching of modern prose,and students' own factors influence the situation teaching of modern prose,etc.This study proposes situational teaching strategies for modern prose from four aspects: teaching concept,teaching objectives,teaching process and teaching methods.Firstly,teachers should change the concept of modern prose situational teaching in junior middle school,attach importance to students' subjective status and change the teaching concept of attaching importance to knowledge rather than emotion;secondly,teachers should make clear the goal of modern prose situational teaching in junior middle school,attach importance to the taste of prose language,attach importance to the experience of the beauty of prose's emotion and philosophy,and attach importance to the understanding of prose's artistic conception;thirdly,teachers should make use of teaching Finally,teachers should improve the situation teaching process of modern prose in junior high school,grasp the beauty,context,emotion and thinking of prose,and guide students to have some understanding and thinking.In a word,through the research,we hope to provide some better teaching strategies for front-line teachers,and provide some reference for front-line teachers and scholars who do research on related issues.It is hoped that the situational teaching of modern prose in junior high school will receive due attention and be continuously developed and improved.
