With the continuous development of society and the deepening of people's understanding of reading,more and more people begin to realize the importance of reading for people's lifelong development.Reading is the main way for people to get information and increase knowledge.Especially,modern people's reading methods and content choice are more diversified.Reading ability has become an important performance of measuring a person's knowledge reserve and learning ability.Under the current education system in China,the cultivation of students reading ability mainly depends on the teaching of Chinese reading.Chinese reading teaching is an important part of primary school Chinese teaching.Reading classes in the senior grades of primary school Chinese are not only the process of checking and accepting the reading ability of primary school students from grade one to grade four,but also lay an important foundation for students to enter the junior middle school Chinese learning.This is also the main reason why we put the teaching of Chinese reading in the senior grade of primary school in the teaching of Chinese.Throughout the current implementation of reading teaching in the senior grades of primary schools,there are still many shortcomings.The author uses observation method,interview method and classroom research method to analyze the current situation of senior Chinese reading in three primary and secondary schools in ChangChun and JiuTai district from seven dimensions: learning needs,teaching objectives,class preparation,teaching methods,teaching content and teaching evaluation.It is found that the teaching of Chinese reading is mere formality;the pressure of Chinese classroom is great,and the amount of information teachers and students need to master is large;theteaching mode is relatively single,and the conventional teaching is still dominated by the method of speaking and reading;and the students' participation in reading is not high.Based on the analysis of the above problems,the author believes that the cultivation of language sense should be the basis of the cultivation of reading ability;help students to form "strategic knowledge" in reading and build links with existing reading materials;actively stimulate students' interest in active and independent reading and return the reading initiative to students;teachers consolidate students' reading ability through "speaking","reading" and "writing" It is necessary.
