Reading is an important activity of human society,which enables the accumulated experience of human society to be systematically preserved and spread.Nowadays,with the continuous development of The Times,the importance of reading is also increasing day by day.From daily life to career development,from information acquisition to spiritual satisfaction,reading activity is inseparable.Reading literacy is an important part of the international large-scale assessment project PISA,which usually refers to the ability of students to understand,use,reflect on and use texts in order to achieve specific goals,increase knowledge,develop their own potential and participate in social life independently.Reading literacy is becoming an evaluation index of reading teaching.Based on the purpose of improving the reading quality of the senior grade students in primary school and promoting their comprehensive development,this paper analyzes the current situation of the senior grade reading teaching in a school of Jinan by using the theory of Chinese reading teaching and other theories and in the form of case study.The author went deep into the front line,observed reading teaching from three dimensions of reading literacy,namely reading knowledge,reading ability and reading sentiment,and then carried out investigation and research on the actual situation of reading teaching of teachers and students,students' reading effect and problems encountered in the process of reading teaching.According to the research results,the following achievements have been made in the reading teaching of senior grade in primary schools: First,the teaching of reading insists on taking the curriculum standard as the guide and implementing it;Secondly,teachers set clear and multi-dimensional teaching objectives of reading and design teaching according to them,so as to achieve better results.Thirdly,give full play to students' cooperative spirit in class,advocate group cooperative learning mode,and actively highlight students' class subjectivity;Finally,the school attaches great importance to the expansion of students' reading volume.However,in the process of investigation,the author also found the following obvious problems: first,some links in reading teaching still exist formalization,utilitarian tendency;Second,students lack good reading habits,it is difficult to produce reading emotion;Third,students have difficulties in learning strategic knowledge;Fourth,students' basic and core reading ability still needs to be further strengthened;Finally,students lack deep thinking in reading.Accordingly,in this article,through international organizations and scholars research results of reading literacy,and combining with the compulsory education stage of primary school Chinese curriculum standard(2011 edition),the author tried to find the results of student's reading literacy,including the knowledge of reading,reading ability,reading of modern three aspects of primary school student in high grades of reading literacy cultivation countermeasure of exploration,in order to improve the current elementary school senior Chinese reading teaching,improve students' reading literacy.
