"Chinese excellent traditional culture is our deepest cultural soft power." In more than five thousand years of civilization,the Chinese nation has created extensive and profound Chinese culture and art.Children are the future successors of the motherland.It is of great significance to educate students in traditional culture and art from the primary school stage to establish correct world outlook,life outlook and aesthetic outlook from childhood.Dunhuang murals,as an excellent historical,cultural and artistic treasure of the Chinese nation,should be regarded as an intuitive and vivid model of traditional art in early art education in schools.This article through the elaboration,analysis,practice,summary and other methods to "Dunhuang murals in primary school art teaching application and research" feasibility of the theme analysis and research,looking forward to the discussion and practical examples of this article,in view of the current primary school art textbooks and actual teaching of "Dunhuang murals" this traditional cultural and artistic subject of long-term neglect and lack of phenomenon,there are some.Suggestions and proposals for improvement.
