The ancient Chinese image materials directly and indirectly reflect social history,and they are even more precious in the value of art history.Dunhuang art is an important expression of traditional image art.The decorative patterns of the murals in its grottoes are rich in content,gorgeous and exquisite,and full of change.With the development of the times,it presents different characteristics and styles.It systematically shows the development of Chinese traditional art and the inheritance and evolution of artistic styles in various periods in terms of modeling,structure,coloration,and hooking lines.It also shows the historical characteristics of the integration of Chinese and Western art,which are all modern Chinese art.The exploration and development of education provides experience in aesthetic cultivation and cultural vision,and is worthy of in-depth study and application in art teaching.The Sui and Tang Dynasties were the most prosperous period in the history of our country.At that time,the regime's unification of the north and the south and the revival of Buddhism played an important role in promoting the development of Dunhuang art.The decorative patterns in the grottoes have also been greatly developed under this historical background.In order to enhance the junior high school students' understanding and inheritance of traditional culture,this article cuts Dunhuang decorative patterns of the Sui and Tang Dynasties as a whole,and expands its application research in junior high school art teaching.First,analyze the background,research status,research content and methods of this subject;give a historical overview of the Dunhuang decorative patterns in the Sui and Tang Dynasties,collect the grotto patterns,classify them according to the decorative parts and main types of the patterns,and follow the rules and characteristics Analyze the typical patterns.From the perspective of inheriting the cultural connotation of the Dunhuang decorative patterns in the Sui and Tang Dynasties,and cultivating the cultural qualities and artistic aesthetics of students,the significance of adding its decorative patterns to the art curriculum in the junior high school stage is explained to help students understand the charm of Dunhuang art and refine the patterns in the later period The national culture and art elements in the school;explore the applicability of decorative patterns in junior high school art teaching,analyze and elaborate from five aspects:theoretical support,application status,survey report,etc.,and enhance students 'awareness of beautifying life;the teaching practice part,through "Appreciation comment","modelingexpression","design application","comprehensive exploration" four modules to carry out art teaching program design,on the basis of understanding the Dunhuang decorative patterns in the Sui and Tang Dynasties to teach art classroom.The first section improves students' ability to appreciate,express,and express Dunhuang culture.The second section allows students to understand the basic knowledge of Dunhuang decorative pattern design,familiar with its deformation process,and experience the charm of modeling in the process of copying.The third section combines decorative patterns with artistic expression techniques and design concepts to carry out innovative design,cultivate students' design awareness and modeling ability of decorative patterns,and provide new creative ideas and application references for modern junior high school art education.The fourth section of the curriculum emphasizes students' independent inquiry,cultivates interest in fine arts and improves their ability to expand in the process of exploration.
