The Influence Of Social Capital On Urbanization Of Rural Migrant Workers

In the current,China put forward to promoting of the urbanization of rural migrant workers.Rural population's economic income?willingness to leave town?living arrangement in urban areas are the focus of new urbanization.Rural migrant workers build their social capital,include local social capital and creative social capital during migration.Research on the social capital effect on income and willingness to live in urban areas are controversial.From the perspective of social capital,this article uses the data from an original survey in Suzhou Industrial sector conducted in 2015 from May to July,and adopts the liner regression method and logistic regression method to analysis the Influencing of social capital on economic income,willingness to live in urban areas and Living arrangement.The research found that local social capital has little impact on migrants' income,willingness to live in urban areas and living arrangement,while creative social capital has a significant positive influence on them.Meanwhile,human capital variables such as education and training have significant positive influences on income,willingness and living arrangement;In order to promoting urbanization of the rural migrant workers,the paper proposes to enhance the social interaction,and to expand the social network of rural migrant workers and improve their creative social capital,and strengthen the attention of rural migrant workers training and professional qualification certificationThis article has some novelty in the research perspective and research data.It deepened the academic community of rural migrant workers public issues.
